RM Bathroom Remodels 2014

This remodel involved removing and replacing both bathrooms in the house. Also, the space in the maser bedroom closet was going to be re-purposed for more storage.  Additionally, to help with cooling the house in the summer time, a whole house attic fan was going to be installed.  The only issue was that both baths had to be taken down together for permit service cost savings.  So, one bath toilet was kept operable during the project for convenience sake.

First step was to gut both rooms.  Turns out the plumbing drains in both baths were made of steel and were 90 percent occluded.  The new vanity would move over and require us to re-plumb the drains and water supply anyways, but the main drains for each were not in good shape.  We sectioned out bad spots and moved the water supply lines as well.  Bath baths framed up well but we had to shim out one wall 3/4" for the bath tub as the newer tub used less space.
